The B.Sc Perfusion Technology involves the study of the physiology, pathology of the human heart and associated equipment that is used to support the heart and lungs during different medical procedures. The B.Sc Perfusion Technology students will be studying in-depth about both respiratory and circulatory systems of the human body.
They are trained to work on various critical equipment that are necessary for the human circulatory and respiratory functioning. They are trained to handle pressure during stressful situations. They are also given training on different aspects like attention to detail, effective communication, adaptability for new developments in the profession.
The students who have passed PUC or 10+2 in science stream with Physics/Chemistry/Biology subjects with 45% aggregate (for general category) and 40% aggregate (for OBC/SC/ST category) from recognised board are eligible to apply for B.Sc Perfusion Technology course at Akash Institute of Allied Health Sciences.
The B.Sc Perfusion Technology is a 4-years long undergraduate course. The students will study 3-years of undergraduate degree and will also have to undergo a 1-year mandatory clinical internship.

The B.Sc Perfusion Technology students will be earning an average salary of 4 lakhs to 8 lakhs per annum. The freshly hired graduates will be earning around 3 lakhs per annum and experienced professionals will be earning about 6 lakhs per annum.
