CET Date Extended for B.Sc. Nursing Aspirants

As per the latest Government order, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has reopened the application portal for B.Sc. Nursing applicants for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for the upcoming academic year.

Unlike previous years, the seats won’t be allotted based on PUC II scores of candidates from Science stream ensuing the recommendations by Indian Nursing Council to conduct mandatory KCET for BSc Nursing 2023-24.

Eligibility- Applicants must have passed all subjects and obtained an aggregate of 45% together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at II PUC or 10+2 science background. The candidate belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes should have passed all subjects with a minimum of 40% in their PCB subjects together.

Please note that, the ST/SC/OBC eligibility criteria is restricted for Karnataka domicile aspirants only. Further, non-Karnataka candidates will not be eligible for the share of B.Sc. Nursing seats conducted by KEA under Government of Karnataka.

Applications are invited online from 18/04/2023, 8:00 am to 22/04/2023, 11:59 pm (extended). Eligible candidates interested in applying for CET are advised to fill the form on or before 22/04/2023 (extended) before 11:59 pm.

Karnataka students who have applied for CET-2023 need not apply separately for B.Sc Nursing.
