AAT 2025 (Architecture Aptitude Test)
The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) for those candidates who are looking for admissions to the B.Arch Program available at IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee and IIT (BHU) Varanasi. Only those candidates who qualify in the JEE Advanced 2025 are allowed to appear for AAT.
The AAT test is conducted in order to determine the architectural awareness, visualization ability, freehand drawing ability, sense of proportion and three-dimensional vision of a student, among other allied abilities. It is aimed at determining the overall aptitude of a candidate for architecture complementing his or her technical competence achieved through JEE Advanced. Admission through AAT is provided on the basis of performance in AAT.
