The KCET exam is all set to be revamped by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The KCET is planning to conduct computer-based mode tests from 2025. Additionally, the KCET syllabus will be implemented starting from the year 2025. Candidates are waiting for the official announcement from the KEA. The KEA is planning to form an expert committee to supervise the modification process. KEA is planning to introduce major changes in KCET including shifting from offline to online mode soon. The committee to include subject experts, experienced professionals, and academicians.

Changes in KCET 2025 Syllabus

The current KCET syllabus is only based on the pre-university NCERT syllabus, resulting in the excluding certain subjects. On the other hand, the PGCET syllabus is based on the engineering syllabus. Additionally, the KCET syllabus is approved by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) recommending the inclusion of the omitted subjects. The new KCET syllabus includes the latest technology.

KCET Results on May 20th

The KCET 2024 results will be declared on May 20th. To check the results the candidate has to use their application number and the first four characters of their name to download their results. Candidates qualifying for the KCET are eligible to participate in the counseling process.
