Eligibility for Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate)

The students should have completed their B.Pharma from the institute recognised by Pharmacy Council of India. The students should have scored 50% aggregate in all the subjects of B.Pharma course and are eligible to apply for Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate).

Admissions to Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate)

The B.Pharm students who are interested to join Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate) course can join by two modes (1) Merit admissions (2) Direct Admissions.

1. Merit Admissions

The B.Pharm students who are interested in merit seats for Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate) are required to appear for the PGCET entrance exam conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The students have to qualify the entrance exams with high marks in order to get admission to merit seats. The fees are fixed by the government and are nominal.

2. Direct Admissions

The B.Pharm students can also take admission to Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate) course through another mode called direct admission mode. The main benefit of direct admission is that students are exempted from appearing for any entrance exams.
