  • NEET PG-2021  was supposed to be conducted in the month of April-2021 is officially postponed for at least 4 months declares the PMO.
  • This move is taken so that more medical graduates will be readily available for the Covid 19 duty as the Country faces the worst unexpected phase  of the Pandemic.
  • No intimation of  the new date for exam is announced still.
  • Prime Minister - Narendra Modi on 02/05/21 had analysed various parameters to augment human resources  for managing the prevailing Covid 19 situation effectively.
  • Government was expected to take up the choice to ask the medical and nursing students preparing for NEET PG -2021 to join the pandemic duty.
  • In return, the Prime Minister’s Office has also offered incentives to medical graduates who decide to support the task.
