The Indian Nursing Council has decided to conduct mandatory entrance tests for the 2023-24 academic year. This is with the motive to improve the quality of Nursing education and break the chain of unauthorised Nursing Colleges in the country.

Considering the latest updates, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has already invited applications for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for the upcoming academic year.

Unlike previous years, the seats won’t be allotted based on PUC 2 scores of candidates from Science stream ensuing the recommendations by Indian Nursing Council to conduct mandatory KCET for BSc Nursing 2023-24.

The closing date for KCET application form is 09.04.2023 (Extended) and the due date for fees payment is 10.04.2023 (Extended). The KEA has allowed KCET 2023 aspirants to modify their uploaded information in the application till 15.04.2023. Candidates who have already filled the form and paid the fees are eligible to revise and correct their application before the above mentioned due date.

Applicants are advised to be mindful with their entries related to annual income, category reservation, rural quota, Kannada medium, etc. to avoid any future consequences.
