MA English and Cultural Studies (Master of Arts in English and Cultural Studies)
The course emphasizes on English literary studies, theories, and criticism and is a combination of modern and ancient English literature, consisting of three main areas of focus, i.e. Prose, Poetry, and Drama. Candidates are encouraged to carry out autonomous learning and independent learning to adapt to the changing and contemporary demands. The coursework focuses on English as a second language, linguistics, the history of the English language, comparative literature, and mythology. The course enhances skills like communication, writing skills, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning. Cultural Stidies help to enhance the candidate’s communication, interaction, and written skills in a practical environment.
