It covers subjects related to metabolism, enzymology, microbiology, buffers, molecular biology, cell biology, bioinformatics, biophysical chemistry, recombinant DNA technology, bioenergetics, genetics, virology, developmental biology, immunology, plant biochemistry, neuro-biochemistry, pathology and biochemistry of diseases, and ecological principles.
The Zoology curriculum focuses on evolution, animal behavior, animal classification, theories about the animal kingdom, and the interaction of animals with the environment. It covers subjects related to biosystematics, structure and functions of invertebrates, tools and techniques in biology, animal physiology and ethology, physiology, genetics and evolution, structure and function of vertebrates, and environmental biology.
The Microbiology curriculum emphasizes on the study of the living system and its relationship with the outside environment. It covers subjects related to bacteriology, mycology, virology, general microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, medical, agricultural, industrial, food, dairy microbiology; immunology, molecular biology, genetic engineering, bioinformatics, biophysics, and space microbiology.
