They are nominal medical professionals and are an important part of the operation unit team, who work alongside with the surgeon, anaesthesiologist and nurse in order to provide quality patient care throughout the surgery.

Eligibility for Diploma in Operation Theatre technology
The students can take eligibility to the diploma in operation theatre technology by 2- modes:
- The students who have completed their SSLC or 10th from recognised board can take admission to 3-years diploma course
- The students who have completed their PUC or 10+2 in science background with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany) from recognised board can take admission to 2-years diploma course

The students can get admission to Diploma in operation theatre technology course via two modes of admission. The first one is merit-based admission and second one is direct admissions.
