OBC and EBC category students can apply for pre-matric scholarship under the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Scheme for Vibrant India for OBIS; a centrally- initiated scheme implemented by the backward classes development department. This Educational Scholarship can be applied by the OBC students studying in Government/Aided Schools from standard 1 to 10 in Kerala.

Eligibility Criteria |
Students studying in Class 1 to 10 of Government/Aided Schools can apply. The beneficiary selection is based on the percentage of marks and annual family income based on the availability of the fund. 80% above marks should be scored in the annual examination of the previous year. |

How to apply |
As the department issues the notification, the students should submit the duly filled application form to the head of the institutions. The school authorities should enter the details in the scholarship portal within the time. |
