In a celebration of academic prowess and determination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the results of the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) - 2023. This significant milestone was reached through the collaboration between the NTA and The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) along with The National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), two prominent entities in the domain of traditional medicine.

Diverse Languages, Unifying Purpose

The AIAPGET 2023 examination, conducted on July 31st, 2023, was a pivotal event for thousands of candidates seeking to delve into the realms of Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha, and Unani. The Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, widely known for its efficiency and accuracy, facilitated the assessment of these aspiring scholars' knowledge and skills.

Linguistic Diversity Fosters Inclusivity

Embracing linguistic diversity, the examination catered to candidates in various languages:

  • English and Hindi for Ayurveda,
  • English for Homeopathy,
  • English and Tamil for Siddha,
  • English and Urdu for Unani.

Nationwide Precision in Examination Management

The meticulous planning and execution of the AIAPGET - 2023 examination extended across 170 centers located in 95 cities. In a testament to transparency, NTA not only provided answer keys and recorded responses but also welcomed challenges from candidates, fostering a sense of engagement and integrity.

Candidates Across Categories Rise to the Challenge

Over 35,000 candidates across diverse categories - General, Gen-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, and ST - participated in the examination. The subject-wise distribution of candidates was as follows:

Technological Vigilance and Fairness

The examination process itself was meticulously monitored to ensure its smooth execution. A Central Control Room operated at the heart of this endeavour, with numerous coordinators and observers deployed to manage different facets of the test. The implementation of cutting-edge technology such as AI-based Video Analytics and Virtual Observers fortified the examination's integrity, while the installation of jammers curbed any potential misuse of mobile networks.

NTA's Integral Role and Beyond

Dr. Sadhana Parashar, Senior Director of NTA, emphasized the organization's pivotal role in registration, test conduct, answer key management, and result declaration. She clarified that NTA's responsibility extends up to this point, with the subsequent phase of counselling being managed by Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) for All India quota seats, and State/UT Counselling Authorities for their respective quotas.

Shaping Futures Through Results

The results of AIAPGET - 2023 hold the promise of shaping the academic journeys of countless aspiring AYUSH scholars. The NTA's commitment to excellence and fairness shines through this accomplishment, underscoring the significance of standardised testing in India's educational landscape.
