There will be no exams for even semesters for graduate courses in Karnataka
All the Universities in Karnataka have decided to skip the even semester exams for all the graduate courses according to the UGC guidelines. According to the press release there will only be no second semester and no fourth semester exams in this academic year in graduate courses. But there will be sixth semester exam for all the graduate courses (except engineering/medical/dental/AYUSH etc)
The decision was taken due to the ongoing Covid 19 crises that had hampered the regular classes. The UGC launched online classes for all the graduate courses due to covid 19 restrictions across the country. But the UGC clearly stated that the final exams will be only conducted for final year students of different graduate courses.
