Medical Laboratory Technology is the branch of medical science responsible for performing laboratory investigations relating to the diagnosis, investigation, treatments and prevention of diseases. The medical lab technicians facilitate the diagnosis of the diseases as well as the implementation and monitoring of therapies to treat diseases. They are responsible to analyse the body fluids to diagnose the disease or ailment and prescribe the relevant further tests based on the prescription of the physicians.
