BSc Nutrition and Dietitian (Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietitian)
The course emphasizes on the study and application of concepts of food in food management, promotion of health through initiatives of healthy food and food replacement, good health and diet, better quality of life, dietary modifications, and the close link between the human body and food. It is an interdisciplinary science and involves modules that promote wellness, good health, stress-free living, and detoxification. Subjects like human physiology, food chemistry, food and nutrition, nutritional biochemistry, food microbiology, food quality and analysis, food preservation, food packaging and marketing management, food processing, dietetics, and food service management are included in the course curriculum. Candidates will have diverse knowledge about the multiple applications of nutrition to simplify life and improve standard of living after successful completion of the course. Skills like management, planning, research, critical thinking, decision-making, logical reasoning, and entrepreneurship are enhanced through this course.
