BSc Chemistry Honours (Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Honours)
The course emphasizes on the theory and practical aspects of the fundamentals of chemistry and includes theories and concepts of atomic structure, chemical bonding, thermodynamics, coordination chemistry, quantum mechanics, spectroscopy and chemical analysis. It covers subjects like properties and composition of matter and their interactions. Important topics include general and physical chemistry, inorganic and organic chemistry, biochemistry, electrochemistry, structure and function of polymers and chemistry of synthetic drugs. Candidates will have diverse knowledge about the multiple branches of chemistry including physical, inorganic, organic and analytical chemistry.
