  • Physiotherapy is used in most of the cases, where they use some techniques with some devices to prevent the patients from disease or pain from which they are suffering. While the MBBS doctors prescribe medication to give relief to the patients irrespective of their illness. But in case of critical illness like heart, kidney, brain etc may require surgery to be performed by MBBS doctors
  • The practice of physiotherapy is devoted to movement sciences and it is concerned with the function of the body systems. While the practice of MBBS is devoted in overall treatment for the illness caused in the human body

Why Physiotherapy is better?

  • Physiotherapy course is the best alternative for the MBBS course and is one of the most trending courses that is picking up pace in recent years.

  • A mere MBBS degree is not sufficient in today’s context, pursuing an MD/MS has been a requirement of the day.
  • The health organisations are looking for specialists in the field and hiring is far better for MD/MS post graduates when compared to MBBS degree.
  • The case in not the same in physiotherapy, candidates with a BPT degree in hand are instantly hired due to the high demand for the physiotherapists across the globe
  • The students once complete their BPT degree they can instantly get hired and they can even start freelancing to increase their earnings.

Conclusion

Physiotherapy is one of the most underrated courses that many students are unaware of because they are quite clouded with the desire for an MBBS degree. Time has come to change this perception among the aspiring candidates as MBBS is not the ultimate, but there are better career opportunities available in the healthcare sector today. More and more fields and roles are being incorporated in the healthcare sector and physiotherapists is one such course that is highly anticipated in the coming days.

Many surveys have claimed that the career and earning for physiotherapists is better when compared to MBBS degrees.
