What is B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)?

B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) is the 3-year degree course that can be done after the completion of the PUC/12th or equivalent. The students who have studied any of the following three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Chemistry, Zoology, Botany in their PUC/12th or equivalent from the recognised from central or any state board are eligible to apply for the B.Sc Medical Lab Technology (MLT).

The medical lab technology course is also called clinical laboratory science in the allied health sciences. The students of the B.Sc medical laboratory technology (MLT) are given the training to perform various tasks related to human health like treatment, diagnosis and prevention of the diseases using the clinical methods and laboratory tests. They are also given training to handle and maintain various medical testing equipment like CT Scan Machine, X-Ray Machine, MRI Machine etc.
