The CBSE Board decided to implement 2 terms of study from the academic year 2024-25. Till last year, the CBSE used to conduct 1-year annual exams, but from now onwards there will be 2-terms of exams in the CBSE classes:
- Term 1: November-December
- Term 2: March-April
The CBSE has announced the Exam Data Sheet (Exam Time Table) of the Term 1 Exam for Class 10th and Class 12th for the academic year 2024-25 on October 18th 2021. The Term 1 Exam for CBSE starts from November 16th 2021 (Class 10th) and November 17th 2021 (Class 12th). While it is high time that students should buckle up their preparations to get good scores. However, the Term 2 exam will be conducted in March/April 2022. So the focus now should be on cracking the Term 1 Exam that is scheduled around the corner.

Tips to perform effectively in the Term 1 CBSE Exam
Over many years of research the experts have come up with effective ways to crack the CBSE exams and have become successful. - Try to complete the sample question papers of all the subjects irrespective of classes (Class 10th and Class 12th) before 15 days of the exam date.
- It is advised to complete at least the Term 1 syllabus by 25th October 2021, so that the remaining days can be kept for revision
- It is always advisable to refer only NCERT Books and objective chapter-wise question Banks released by CBSE board. These question banks are specially prescribed for Term 1 MCQ (Based on new pattern). The students can even refer to other question banks available in the market, but it is recommended to follow minimal books.
- In the final 20 days, the focus should be only on final revision through question banks, sample papers and reverse study strategy for the weak topics from all the sample papers
