MBBS in India
There are a lot of students who dream to become doctors by joining the MBBS in the top reputed colleges every year. The increased competition has depleted the chances of getting admission to government medical seats especially in the merit quota seats.
The students with lesser rankings in NEET-UG exam who may not make it to get admission to government medical seats will go for private colleges. But not everyone can afford to get admission to private colleges due to high donation and high capitation fees.
The quality of MBBS in private MBBS colleges in Bangalore is comparatively better when it comes to infrastructure and latest technology, but it is not on par with MBBS colleges abroad. The students with MBBS abroad will always have better exposure when compared to students with MBBS in India.
MBBS in Abroad
Many universities in different countries are offering quality education in the MBBS courses at very affordable costs that are very cheap when compared to medical education in the private Indian universities. Many students opt for MBBS courses abroad for better exposure and better practical knowledge which is better when compared to MBBS colleges in India. Cost wise also the MBBS courses abroad costs less when compared to MBBS courses in Indian private universities.
In many countries the duration of course will be around 4 years to 6 years. But in India the MBBS students will have to study 4.5 years and complete 1-year mandatory internship to practice as a physician. In the internship programme the students will work with live patients in the hospitals affiliated with the university. The students will get maximum practical exposure to real-world scenarios.
