IIT JEE is Joint Entrance Exam for Architecture & Engineering courses in IITs and NITs of the country. The JEE exam offers admissions to IITs, NITs and other prestigious engineering and architecture colleges across the country. The JEE exam provides a great opportunity for aspiring engineering and architecture courses. The JEE exam is a common platform that provides equal opportunity to the students to highlight their talent and knowledge with the IITs and NITs level.
The JEE exam is conducted by NTA and the JEE exam is conducted in 3 phases called
- JEE Main
- JEE Advanced
- JEE B Arch (AAT)
JEE Main
The JEE Main is the first step of the JEE exam. The exam is conducted through online mode by NTA in the months of January and April every year. The exam is conducted in specified exam centres and students have to give their JEE exam at the specific exam centres mentioned on their hall tickets.
JEE Advanced
JEE-Advanced is the second phase of the IIT JEE exam. The students who qualify JEE mains will get eligible to apply for JEE advanced exam. The JEE advanced exam will be conducted in online mode.
JEE B Arch (AAT)
The aspirants interested to join architecture courses are required to apply for the JEE Advanced Architecture Test (AAT) exam. The students who qualify the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exam are eligible to apply for the JEE (AAT) exam.
Eligibility
The students who have completed their PUC or 10+2 in any stream and who are interested to join engineering and architecture courses in IITs and NITs are eligible for the JEE Exam.
JEE Exam Pattern
The JEE Exam is conducted in 2-phases. The first phase is the JEE Main Exam and the second phase is the JEE Advanced exam. JEE Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) is conducted for students interested in architecture courses.
The JEE Exam consists of two different papers for engineering and architecture respectively.
