What is the NEET PG Exam?
The NEET PG Exam is a national level common entrance exam conducted by NBE for providing admissions to various MD (Doctor of Medicine) / MS (Master of Surgery) and PG Diploma courses across all the medical colleges of the country.
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the NEET PG exam once a year in computer-based mode. The scores are also used for admission to postgraduate MBBS, DNB courses. The candidates who qualify the NEET PG Exam have to undergo counselling to choose their seats and get admission to the medical colleges according to their rankings.
Eligibility
- The students should have passed their MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS degree with 50% (General) aggregate and 45% (OBC/SC/ST) from recognised university are eligible to apply for NEET-PG exam
- The students should have completed a minimum of 22 years of age as on 31st December of the year of which admission is sought
