Commercial Pilot is one of the most elite jobs in the world, and many dream of becoming a pilot and take to the skies. But the majority of them fail to achieve their flying dreams due to various factors. One such common factor is lack of information about the process involved in becoming a pilot. Many students become disheartened if they cannot get the right information about becoming a pilot.
Eligibility
The students who have passed PUC or 10+2 with science background with subjects Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science are eligible to become pilots
Which are the courses that are required to become Pilot?
There are many courses that help the students to become pilots of the future. But some of the important ones that take the students towards pilot dreams are mentioned below
1. B.Tech Aerospace Engineering
The B.Tech/BE Aerospace Engineering is an undergraduate course that is divided into 8-semesters. The course elaborates about the basic components of an aircraft such as its design and the science behind it. The course deals with aircraft within the atmosphere of earth and also with those that operate outside the earth’s atmosphere. It is an applied discipline of engineering dealing with making, designing, manufacturing, functioning and maintenance of vehicles as aircraft, spacecraft and missiles. The course deals with the study and practice of areas of specialisation like aerodynamics, thermodynamics, control systems, propulsion, celestial mechanics and electronics.
2. B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering
The B.Tech/BE Aeronautical Engineering course is an undergraduate course that is divided into 8-semesters. The course is designed in such a way to enhance students with problem-solving ability in the aeronautical science field and provide major insights into design, operations and controls involved in aviation technology. The course also deals with the working, maintenance , designing and development of aircrafts such as aeroplanes, rockets and even drones. The course involves certain aspects of engineering and its wider application in the field of aeronautics. The course mainly trains the students in the field of aircraft designing, its working conditions and its maintenance.
