Why is the Equivalence Certificate important?
An Equivalence Certificate (EC) is important because:
It ensures academic continuity

It saves students from unnecessary hassles related to compliance and eligibility
It helps to save time and energy during the Application Process
It ensures that all the credits that the students have earned in their previous academic courses are accounted
It ensures that students do not lose academic years in trying to make up for the certificate or degree
The normal processing time for getting the Equivalency Certificate will be around 2 to 30 business days from date of submission. The Ministry of Education always also reserves the right to request more and/or different documents on a case by case basis in case of discrepancy.
