1. Animator

As an animator one is required to exhibit high levels of creativity in developing 2D and 3D models and characters for a game.

Roles of an Animator

An animator produces multiple images called frames, which when sequenced together create an illusion of movement called animation. Animators tend to work in 2D and 3D models and create computer generated animation.

Duties of an Animator

As an Animator one is responsible to:

  • Coordinate with clients and develop animation from their concepts
  • Creating storyboards that depict the script and narrative
  • Drawing in 2D to create sketches, artwork or illustrations

  • Using technical software packages such as flash, 3ds Max, Maya, LightWave Softimage and Cinema 4D
  • Building up accurate, detailed frame by frame visuals

2. Games Developer

As a Game Developer one will be involved in creating and developing new and innovative games according to the trends. As a game developer one is responsible to develop games for various gaming platforms.

Role of the Games Developer

Students who are passionate about games and game development can choose to become game developers. Role of a Game Designer

As a Game Designer, one will be the centre of creativity at the heart of producing a new game. The game designers can build prototypes, creative interactive narration and develop the game’s mechanics. The game designers are required to design systems that are easily maintainable, expandable and comfortable to use.

As a Game Designer one is needed to:

The B.Sc Gaming students are highly paid individuals across the globe. The game development companies require gaming development professionals for their talent and innovation and creative skills. They easily earn salaries that range from 4 lakhs to 10 lakhs per annum. The average fresh B.Sc Gaming student can easily earn 4 lakhs per annum. However, the salary varies according to the experience and skills gained in careers.
