Hospital Administrator Executive

The Hospital Administrative executives are responsible to oversee health services and daily activities in the hospitals or a healthcare facility.

Role of the Hospital Administrator Executive

As a hospital administrative executive, one is responsible to manage staff and budgets, communicate between departments and ensure adequate patients care amongst other duties.

Responsibilities of a Hospital Administrator Executive

As a hospital administrator executive one is needed to:

  • Serve as a coordinator among the governing boards, medical staff and department managers
  • Organise control and coordinate services as per the hospital board regulations
  • Perform all duties within the regulations
  • Oversee the development and implementation of programmes and policies for patient services, quality assurance, public relations and prepare daily reports
  • Evaluate personnel and prepare performance reports
  • Assist with recruitment consenting, screening and enrolment procedure
  • Practice financial acumen in managing budgets
  • Authorize admissions treatment as per agreed protocols
  • Ensure that stock levels are adequate and orders are made on time
  • Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision
  • Sterilize instruments in accordance with norms and procedures
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation of patient visits
  • Coordinate with different departments in the hospitals and ensure a smooth flow in operational activities.

  • The fresh BHA students will earn around 3 lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum as Health Administrator Executive
  • The experienced professionals will earn around 4 lakhs to 6 lakhs per annum

Health Care Coordinator

The health care coordinators are responsible to assist the patients enrolled in the hospitals and consult them for their needs, developing care plans, coordinating patient care services.

Role of a Health Care Coordinator

The health care coordinators are responsible to educate the patients about their medical condition and also ensure that the care team works with patients to evaluate interventions.

Responsibilities of a Health Care Coordinator

As a health care coordinator, one is responsible to:

  • Consult with patients and family members to discuss their health problems
  • Educate the patients about their condition, medication, and give them specific instructions
  • Developing a care plan to address their personal health care needs
  • Consult and collaborate with other health care providers and specialists to set up patient appointments and treatment plans
  • Checking on the patient regularly and evaluate and document their progress
  • Assist the care team with developing and assessing the health interventions
  • Attend ongoing training and courses to keep abreast of new developments in health care
  • Assist with securing funding for medical care as required
  • Treat patients with empathy and respect and conduct oneself in a professional manner
  • Comply with organisational guidelines and health care laws and regulations

  • The fresh BHA students will earn around 2 lakhs to 4 lakhs per annum as Health Care Coordinator
  • The experienced professionals will earn around 5 lakhs to 7 lakhs per annum

Blood Bank Manager

The blood bank managers are responsible for planning, organising and managing the technical and administrative aspects of the blood bank laboratory.

Role of the Blood Bank Manager

As a blood bank manager, one is responsible to manage the daily operations of a blood bank. The blood bank managers are required to ensure that all the donors are thoroughly checked for any diseases before taking the blood from them. They are also responsible to ensure all blood of all the blood groups are available in stock, so that in case of emergency it can be supplied to the patients.

Responsibilities of a Blood Bank Manager

As a blood bank manager, one is needed to:

  • Manages laboratory operations, ensuring the establishment of appropriate procedures throughout every stage of spaceman handling and testing if performed in the unit
  • Ensure the establishment of appropriate procedures for specimen procurement, specimen receiving test ordering, specimen quality assessment and exceptional handling, pre- analytical specimen processing, specimen testing if performed in the unit, specimen distribution and specimen send out to reference laboratories
  • Supervising the technical support and customer services staff
  • Hiring and supervising all technical and clerical staff in the performance of their duties.
  • Manage scheduling and time to attendance records
  • Overseas training orientation and on-going continuing education of technical and clerical personnel
  • Conduct performance evaluations for all technical and clerical staff, maintain personnel files and ensures that all the documentation is current
  • Manage financial performance, prepares operating and capital budget submissions in consultation with medical doctor, hospitals and operational analysis and oversees financial compliance
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements as well as institutional policies and procedures to maintain laboratory licensure and accreditation status
  • Ensure that all the support services of laboratory are prepared for all internal and external inspections

Earning Potential

  • The fresh BHA students will earn around 3 lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum as Blood Bank Manager
  • The experienced professionals will earn around 4 lakhs to 6 lakhs per annum
