Diploma in X-Ray Technology is a 3-years course that is divided into 6-semesters. This is a radiographic course that deals with the electromagnetic radiations that penetrate into the human body and create the image of the internal structure in a photographic film. The course covers both clinical and administrative skills.
The course helps in developing the knowledge and skills that the students need to perform in the laboratory rests, general radiography and electrocardiograms. The course gives a detailed understanding of the X-ray equipment and its techniques.
Eligibility for Diploma in X-Ray Technology
The students can take eligibility to the diploma in x-ray technology by 2- modes:
1. The students who have completed their SSLC or 10th from recognised board can take admission to 3-year diploma course
2. The students who have completed their PUC or 10+2 in science background with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany) from recognised board can take admission to 2-year diploma course
Admission Procedures
The students can get admission to Diploma in X-Ray Technology course via two modes of admission. The first one is merit-based admission and second one is direct admissions.
1. Merit Admission
The students seeking admission to Diploma in X-Ray Technology course under merit seats are required to apply for the colleges after the applications are released. The students can take admission in merit quota by 2- modes. The first one is, the students who have completed their SSLC or 10th from recognised board can take admission to a 3-year diploma course. The second mode is that the students who have completed their PUC or 10+2 from recognised board are eligible to apply for a 2-year diploma course.
