E-Commerce is often used to refer to the sale of physical products online, but it can also describe any kind of commercial transaction that is facilitated through the internet. E-Commerce refers to all aspects of operating online business, e-commerce refers specifically to the transaction of goods and services.
While the supply chain acknowledges all of the traditional logistics and also includes activities such as marketing, new product development, finance and customer service. The supply chain management refers to coordination of products, inventory, location and transportation among the participants in a supply chain to achieve the best blend of responsiveness and efficiency for the market survival.
Few Lines about BBA E-Commerce and Supply Chain Management
BBA in E-Commerce and Supply chain management is a 3-years undergraduate course that is divided into 6-semesters. The course trains the students for processes and concepts related to logistics and supply chain. The course also provides knowledge about implementing, controlling and planning efficiently the flow of goods from the supplier to the customers. The course essentially involves the study of fundamental concepts vital to business like general administration, marketing & finance leadership, industry knowledge within the territory of e-commerce, converting business skills in the online environment, strategic management of online business activities, online operations management, e-commerce marketing and many more.
The course trains the students to apply logistics management and administration, making logistics administration. Some of the important topics covered in the course are process of raw material procurement, production, inventory and product delivery.
Eligibility for BBA E-Commerce & Supply Chain Management Course
The students who have completed their PUC or 10+2 with 50% from recognised board are eligible to apply for BBA E-Commerce & Supply Chain Management Course.
Admission Procedure
The students with relevant qualifications can join to BBA E-Commerce & Supply Chain Management course by two modes. The first one is Merit based admission and the second one is direct admission.
