Procedure for Entry of UG NEET-2021

Instructions to Karnataka Candidates:

  • Candidates who have already registered for CET-2021 and have completed the document verification must enter their correct UG NEET-2021 roll number from 02:00 PM on 13/12/2021 upto 11:59 PM on 17/12/2021 through the online link enabled in KEA web portal for the eligibility of admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH Courses. Anyways those candidates need not pay the registration fees again. They need to check the NEET roll number printed on the application form after entering the UG NEET-2021 roll number.
  • Candidates who have assigned ranks in CET-2021 and completed their  document verification as per CET-2006 Admission Rules and who are not claiming for additional reservation are not required to appear for the verification of documents again for Medical, Dental and AYUSH Courses. But they should download the UG NEET-2021 verification slip from KEA portal on the specific dates to become eligible for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH Courses.
  • If any such candidate is eligible to claim reservation as per Government of Karnataka norms or under Linguistic minority/ Religious minority/NRI ward or if candidates are eligible to claim seats under Category-2 to Category-8 in St.John’s Medical College, Bangalore, they have to claim such  reservations in the Online Application form and have to appear for document verification with all the relevant Certificates/Documents.
  • Karnataka candidates who have qualified in UGNEET-2021 but have not registered for UGCET-2021 must first  register in KEA Web-portal via online, enter all the details, pay the registration fee and appear for document verification with all the relevant original certificates at KEA, Bangalore as per the notified schedule.
  • Candidates who have registered and filled the online application, paid the registration fees for CET-2021 but have not appeared for document verification due to non-obtaining of rank for any discipline in CET-2021 but if they have qualified in UGNEET-2021 then they have to appear for document verification with all the relevant original certificates at KEA, Bangalore as per the notified schedule to become eligible for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH Courses.

SPECIAL NOTE:

Government share of AYUSH Seats will be allotted only to Karnataka Candidates.

Instructions to Non-Karnataka Candidates:

  • Non-Karnataka candidates who have qualified in UGNEET-2021 must first register in KEA Web-portal via online, enter all the details and pay the registration fee. Then they should enter their 12th Standard marks details and upload in a PDF format in the same web portal. They don’t have to appear for verification of documents.

Steps for PDF Format:

  1. Enter the 12th Standard marks details in the portal.

  2. Candidates must upload the UGNEET-2021 Scorecard, 10th marks card and 12th marks card as a single PDF.

  3. Scan in one single file UGNEET-2021 Scorecard, 10th Marks card and 12th Marks card and upload as one single PDF.

  • But if OCI/PIO/NRI/ Foreign Nationals and also any Non-Karnataka candidates are eligible to claim NRI ward, Religious Minority or under Category-2 to Category-8 in St.John’s Medical College, Bangalore, they must appear for document verification at KEA, Bangalore on the specified dates.
  • Government in their letter No. HFW 124 RGU Bangalore, dated 28/06/2017, have directed KEA to conduct Common Counselling for admission to UG Medical and Dental Courses for all Government, Private (Including Minority), NRI and other seats in the state of Karnataka.
  • Centralised and combined Counselling for the seats to be notified by the Karnataka State Government, in Government, COMED-K, KRLMPCA, AMPCK Institutions, the admissions will be as per the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Government Seats in Professional Educational Institutions Rules, 2006 (in short rules) and amended from time to time as per the guidelines of MCI/ DCI/ Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GOI/ Government of India/ Medical Education, Karnataka/ Director Medical Education, Karnataka/ Entrance Test Committee.
  • Mere qualifying  in UGNEET-2021 does not confer any right on the candidate unless the candidate fulfills eligibility conditions/ Documents submission. Moreover, the candidates who have completed the registration process including the document verification are eligible for Medical/ Dental Seats in Government/ Private Colleges in Karnataka. 
  • Registered but not verified/ Unregistered candidates will not be allowed for any admission either through KEA or by the College, as after the mop-up round, the list of registered and verified but un-allotted candidates will be sent by KEA to colleges to fill-up vacant seats, if any (As per GOI instructions)
