The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) faculty members in Delhi will be conducting monthly visits in allotted clusters to strengthen academic culture under the School Transformation programme.

The SCERT has laid down the broad objectives of the programme to build a stronger connection with schools, effective implementation of government-led initiatives, develop supportive connections between faculty and teachers and many other objectives from the current academic year.

The SCERT always ensures that the contextualisation of overall district needs, strengthens the culture of supportive observations and giving constructive feedback, to the schools and provides direct support to the schools of Delhi under this initiative.

The SCERT joint director Mr. Nahar Singh stated that regular visits from SCERT to the schools ensures a systemic implementation of academic discourses by aligning the heads of schools, teacher development coordinators, and teachers across the schools and enables the overall improvement of performance of the schools in Delhi.
