The Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka has extended the dates of admission to 1st PUC or Class 11 till July 30, 2022.
The decision has been taken as the CBSE and CISCE boards are yet to announce their board exam results. This comes as a relief to many students who were awaiting their 10th board results.
The official notification shared by the education minister, Mr B C Nagesh stated that the students can get enrolled in 1st PUC till 30th July, 2022. The last date for registration with penalty fees has been extended till 6 August, 2022 to 12 August, 2022.
The CBSE Class 10 exams were held from 26 April, 2022 to 24 May, 2022; while the ICSE exams started on 25 April, 2022 and ended on 23 May, 2022. The result dates are yet to be announced. As per reports, the CISCE Class 10 exam result is likely to be declared this week by Saturday, 16 July, 2022, while CBSE results of Class 10th are expected to be released by the last week of July.
