IIFT launches Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), admission through IPMAT

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has launched a new course – Integrated Programme In Management (BBA+MBA), admission to which will be given through the IPMAT entrance exam. 

The course will have multiple exit options, where the students can study for three years and get the BBA (Business Analytics) degree or continue for two more years to get two degrees – BBA and MBA (International Business). 

Prof. Manoj Pant, Vice Chancellor, IIFT stated that the IPM course is designed to mainly impart knowledge and skills to students for managerial roles in the varied management functions across different industries. 

The course is designed with a rigorous and holistic curriculum so that the students will develop different traits such as problem-solving skills supported by appropriate analytical techniques, ethical and socially-conscious judgement, and analysing business situations. conceptual, analytical, statistical, and interpersonal skills for managerial decision making and many others.

The student intake for the programme would be around 40.  For the selection process the IIFT will use scores of the students of the IPMAT 2022 examination conducted by IIM-Indore. And the admission will be based on IPMAT entrance examination score, academic profile Class 10th level. 

All the students should have passed the PUC or 10+2 examination in any stream with 60%or more in the year 2020 or 2021. Those who are appearing for Class 12 final exam in 2022 can also apply. In case of class 12th students, they should have studied  Mathematics/ Business Mathematics as a subject in their Class 12th.
