The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has stated that exams for the ICSE and ISC levels would be held just once a year from next year. The formal announcement may be viewed on the official CISCE website.

“It has been decided by the CISCE to conduct only one examination at the end of the Academic Year 2023 at both ICSE & ISC levels. The CISCE proposes to hold the said examinations tentatively in the months of February/ March 2023,” according to the official announcement.

Schools have been encouraged to design their academic calendars properly in order to avoid disrupting students' academic life.

The Council also announced adjustments to the curriculum of selected disciplines, which are now available on the official CISCE website. “Please note the Syllabus for the ICSE & ISC Year 2023 Examination has been revised in select subjects. The revised syllabus is available on the CISCE website, under the Publication Section,”according to the official announcement.

Sample papers for all topics will be made accessible on the official website in the upcoming weeks. According to the Council, these documents will be published on the official website beginning in July 2022.
