The Madras High Court insisted MCI ask the doctors to display their attempts to clear the exam. The Hon'ble Madras High Court ordered this decision in order to safeguard the patients visiting the clinics for treatments.
The Madras High Court further stated that the number of attempts to be displayed by the doctors in their clinics, so that the patients visiting them can have a look and get to know how the particular doctor is competent to treat them. Justice Vydyanathan ordered this and stated that this has to be done to safeguard the interests of the patients. This will help the patients to make informed decisions while visiting the new doctor for a specific treatment.
Justice Vudhyanathan said that some doctors have become commercial brokers by having nexes with the pharmacists and this will affect the community health drastically. So the Madras High Court insisted the MCI take some necessary actions.
