- XAT or Xavier Aptitude Test is a national-level entrance test for MBA/PGDM admission.
- XAT is conducted by Xavier Labour Relation Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur, on behalf of XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes).
- It is the most preferred entrance test after CAT for MBA/PGDM admission.
- XAT is considered tougher than CAT and IIFT as the quantitative and decision making sections of XAT is difficult than them.
- You need to secure at least 95 percentile in XAT to be considered and called for an interview at XLRI.

Eligibility
- The eligibility to apply for XAT is any bachelors degree of 3 years duration.
- Students completing the final year degree exam by 10 -6-2019 are also eligible to apply.
- Indian candidates and those from Dubai & Kathmandu must qualify in XAT exam
- NRIs and foreign candidates may apply through GMAT
- There is no age limit for applying for the test.
