JEE Mains Examination Application Opened for admission 2021-22

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) has opened applications for students who are interested to get admissions to BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, IITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions, Universities funded/recognised by Central and State Governments for the academic year 2021-22. The interested students can visit the official website for applying online for the JEE Mains examinations.

About JEE Mains

The JEE Main examination comprises two papers. The Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes such as BE/B.Tech courses. The Paper 2 is conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes such as B.Arch and B. Planning courses. The JEE Mains 2021 exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) at multiple sessions.

The JEE Mains Paper 1 for BE/B.Tech is conducted online via Computer based (online) mode only. The Paper 2A for B.Arch (Part 1) will be in Computer based (online) mode only, Drawing Test (Part 2) in offline mode only. The Paper 2B for B.Planning will be Computer based (online) mode only.

The JEE Mains Paper 1 and Paper 2 are conducted to test the ability of the students on different sections such as Mathematics, Quantitative Aptitude for (B.Tech/BE) and Drawing Test for (B.Arch and B.Planning) respectively.

 

New Notification

JEE Mains Examination Postponed 

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) has been postponed due to the Covid 19 guidelines until further notice. The JEE exams of both April and May sessions will be postponed and new dates will be announced shortly.

JEE (Advanced) - 2021 which was supposed to be conducted on 03/07/21 is postponed due to the current pandemic situation.

JEE (Main) - 2021 for March (Session 2 & Session 3):

  • JEE (Main)- 2021 Session 2 is held on 16/03/21 to 18/03/21 for B.E/B.Tech Courses.
  • There will be two shifts of examination: Shift 1- 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon; Shift 2- 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM.
  • JEE (Main)- 2021 examination will be conducted in Computer based Test (CBT) with Gender/ Category wise distribution of candidates at 792 centres and Medium-wise distribution of candidates at 792 centres.
  • The Examination would be conducted in 334 Cities [including 12 cities outside India in Bahrain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Kualalumpur, Lagos, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore and Kuwait].
  • Live CCTV surveillance has been arranged in all the examination centres to curb the malpractices and NTA has made arrangements for live viewing and recording for remote location.Jammers have been installed to stop cheating using mobile networks.
  • JEE(Main) - 2021 Session 3 will be conducted from 27/04/21 to 30/04/21 and Session 4 from 24/05/21, 25/05/21, 26/05/21, 27/05/21 and 28/05/21.

 

JEE (Advanced)-2021:

JEE (Advanced) - 2021 which was supposed to be conducted on 03/07/21 is postponed due to the current pandemic situation. 
Revised dates will be announced later.

  • JEE (Advanced)-2021 will be conducted on 03/07/21 for admission to various programs at IITs.
  • Paper 1 will commence from 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and Paper 2 from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation under the Ministry of Human Resource Department (MHRD), Government of India (GOI). The NTA is the government organisation established by the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting national level entrance exams. The NTA has been entrusted by the Ministry of Education with the task of conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains).
