The qualified Medical Microbiologist one will be working towards controlling infectious diseases in hospitals and communities. Their main role is to identify the exact pathogens that are creating infections and prescribe relevant medicine and treatments to that particular infection. He/she will usually work in diagnostic centres of hospitals and also independent diagnostic centres.
