CHRIST UNIVERSITY BCOM HONOURS COURSE OVERVIEW
The undergraduate course focuses on the study, functioning, and applications of Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Human Resource, and Marketing. It covers topics like financial accounting, corporate tax, economics, company law, auditing, business organizations, business management, commercial transactions, and financial law. Candidates will have diverse options available after successful completion of the course.
The course emphasizes on business strategy, process execution, business forecast, market monitoring and analysis, and stocks and trade, financial policies, and market regulation through detailed and comprehensive discussions and guest lectures. The course comprises the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) model prescribed by the UGC and includes core subjects, specific electives (offered in the third year), general electives (in the first and second year), and skill enhancement courses. The course provides a deep understanding of the different applications of Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Human Resource, and Marketing. The course includes a compulsory Micro Project during the sixth semester.
