CHRIST UNIVERSITY BCOM (MORNING) COURSE OVERVIEW
The undergraduate course focuses on the study, functioning, and applications of Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Human Resource, and Marketing for students from socio-economically stressed backgrounds. It covers topics like financial accounting, corporate tax, economics, company law, auditing, business organizations, business management, commercial transactions, and financial law. Candidates will have options to take up internships/part-time jobs after the course.
The course emphasizes on business strategy, process execution, business forecast, market monitoring and analysis, and stocks and trade, financial policies, and market regulation through detailed and comprehensive discussions and guest lectures. The course comprises core subjects, specific electives, general electives, certificate courses, and skill enhancement courses. The course provides a deep understanding of the different applications of Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Human Resource, and Marketing. The course includes a compulsory NGO Project.
