Few Lines about M.Sc Clinical Research
M.Sc in Clinical Research is a 2-year post graduate course in medicine that is divided into 4- semesters. The course is an investigation aimed at determining the safety and efficacy of new medical products including drugs, vaccines, devices, diagnostic agents and treatment regimens intended for maintaining and regaining human health. The course aims to train the students on various researches and experiments that are conducted in clinics particularly with living organisms. The major components of course are:
- Organic activities performed in the clinic
- Study of drugs and medicine management
- Manufacture of medicine and drugs
- Determination of appropriate quantity of drugs for the body and their impact on it
- Study of related disciplines such as Epidemiology, Transplantation, etc
- An advanced study of the subspecialties of research design data management epidemiology and biostatistics
Eligibility for M.Sc Clinical Research
The students with graduation in life science background such as B.Sc Life Science, B.Tech/BE Biotechnology, B.Sc Forensic Science, Medical Science (BDS, MBBS, BAMS, BHMS), paramedical courses (B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharma) with 50% aggregate marks from recognised university are eligible to apply for M.Sc Clinical Research course.

The undergraduate students from relevant specialisations can take admission to M.Sc Clinical Research course by two modes. They are (1) Merit Admission (2) Direct Admission.
