Introduction to Renal Dialysis
Renal Dialysis is an artificial way of carrying out the functions that are carried out by kidneys in a human body. Renal dialysis is a process where the unwanted waste from the blood throughout the body is eliminated by the kidneys in the form of urine. The healthy kidneys regulate the body’s levels of water and minerals and remove wastes.
Renal dialysis substitutes the natural work of the kidneys, so it is also known as renal replacement therapy (RRT). The artificial equipment performs the functions of kidneys in the patients suffering from kidney disorders.
