Introduction to B.Tech/BE Computer Science & Engineering (Blockchain)
Blockchain technology is a system of recording information in a way that makes it difficult or impossible to change, hack, or cheat the system. Blockchain is basically a digital ledger of transactions that is duplicated and distributed across the entire network of computer systems that are connected on the blockchain networks.
Blockchain is an emerging technology platform for developing applications which are decentralised along with the data storage capacity. The role assists the technology underlying the cryptocurrencies and its likes. The blockchain platform allows creating a distributed and replicated ledger of events, transactions, and data generated through various IT processes.
The blockchain technology allows cryptographic guarantees of tamper resistance, immutability and verifiability. Blockchain technology is opening up other realms, with MNCs like IBM and Microsoft developing applications in more up-and-coming fields such as IoTs, enabling the blockchain platforms even on cloud-based technologies.
Few lines about B.Tech/BE Computer Science Engineering (Blockchain)
The B.Tech/BE Computer Science Engineering (Blockchain) is a 4-years undergraduate course that is divided into 8 semesters. The course will help the students to develop a deeper understanding of the emerging abstract models of Blockchain technology. The course tries to train on various theory and practical aspects that are available in blockchain technology.
The course is designed to impart the wider knowledge of Basic Cryptocurrency, basic blockchain system concepts, limitations of blockchain technology and many more. The course familiarises students with the functional and operational aspects of the blockchain ecosystem.
