Found in 1999, Kristu Jayanti College is an autonomous college, currently managed by the Bodhi Niketan Trust which is formed by the members of St. Joseph Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). The college has been reaccredited with grade A by NAAC in the second cycle of accreditation and is affiliated to Bangalore University. The college is a UGC recognised institution.

Admission Process:
Candidates are expected to appear for either of the national level management tests, i.e. CAT, MAT, CMAT and the score is required to complete the admission procedure. The admission process is conducted online, and all the aspiring candidates are requested to apply online for the counselling process. The counselling process has been divided into the following screening rounds:
- Personal presentation
- Group discussion
- Interview with the admission panel
The topic for group discussion and personal presentation will be provided at the venue.
Admission is on the basis of the score secured in the qualifying exam and their performance in counselling.
The results are announced on the same day as the counselling and are published both on the website and the notice board.
Selected candidates will be given a reporting date before which they will have to submit all available original documents and fees for the first year failing which their admission will be cancelled.
