NEET PG 2025 Revised Date Likely to be August 3 - Exam to be Held in Single Shift
Every student in India's medical community is now discussing the postponed date for NEET PG 2025. The National Board of Examinations (NBE), responsible for conducting this test, recently announced the decision. NEET PG 2025 was originally scheduled for earlier, but the Supreme Court of India specifically required a single shift NEET PG to avoid unfairness, arbitrariness, and incompetence relating to multiple shifts; as well as ensuring like exams held across the country.
The Supreme Court added that multiple shifts of NEET PG have been known to lead to unfairness and incompetence, all of which lead to technical difficulties during the evaluation and the integrity of merit-based allocation. So, as a result of the directive from the Supreme Court of India, the NBE has now stated, that NEET PG 2025 will be held on August 3, 2025 - Sunday and in one shift across the country.
Key Update:
- Reason for Postponement: Supreme Court order against multiple exam shifts
- Expected New Date: August 3, 2025
- Mode of Exam: Online (Computer-Based Test)
- Shifts: Single Shift Only
We anticipate an official notification with information regarding the exam schedule, the revised admit card release and more guidelines will be published soon on NBE's official website: https://natboard.edu.in.
