Important Update: Conversion of Nationality from Indian Origin to NRI

The candidates who are claiming conversion from Indian Origin to NRI for the NEET UG Exam 2021 counselling, as per the directions/orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court orders for Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka should follow the below instructions. 

This is to inform such students that they are required to send an email to ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com with relevant documents attached from 10:00 AM of 11th February, 2022 (Friday) till 06:00 PM of 13th February, 2022 (Sunday) to change their claim of nationality from Indian Origin to Non-Resident Indian (NRI). 

All the Mails received after the specified date and time will not be considered. The candidates are advised to send all documents enclosed in single mail only within stipulated time.

Documents to be enclosed with the Mail:

  1. Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsorer).
  2. Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors. dated 22-08- 2017.
  3. Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
  4. Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate).
  5. NEET Score Card of the candidate.
