Conversion of Nationality from Indian Origin to NRI for Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka after reduction of percentile in NEET PG Exam 2021

The candidates who have become eligible after reducing the percentile for NEET PG Exam 2021 should apply for conversion of nationality from Indian to NRI to participate in counselling. The MCC has reduced the percentile for NEET PG Exam 2021 and this has increased the number of eligible students. As per the directions/orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court orders for Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka should follow the below instructions. 

Those students are required to send an email to nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com with relevant documents from 01:00 PM of 14th March 2022 (Monday) till 06:00 PM of 15th March, 2022 (Tuesday) to change their claim of nationality from Indian Origin to Non-Resident Indians (NRI). 

All the Mails received after the specified date and time will not be considered. The candidates are advised to send all documents enclosed in single mail only within stipulated time.

Documents to be enclosed with the Mail:

  1. Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsorer).
  2. Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors. dated 22-08- 2017.
  3. Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
  4. Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate).
  5. NEET Score Card of the candidate.
