Recently, the Ministry of Minority Affairs has approved the allocation of Rs 127.33 Crore fund to the state of Karnataka for setting up 12 educational institutes in the state. This step was taken to align with the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat-Samridh Bharat’ which will provide educational facilities to more than 4200 students out of which 3150 belong to the minority community.
The allocated fund to Karnataka is a step towards promoting education offering a favourable environment and promoting holistic development of the students. The fund allocated will act as an investment in the educational sector bridging the educational gap and simultaneously moving towards the NEP (New Education Policy) 2020.
