- As many students from other states decided to avoid staying outside Karnataka for Professional College admissions due to the pandemic this year, the COMED-K seats remained vacant after the counselling ended on 31/12/20 -Â reports Sruthy Susan Ullas.
- Inspite of this, many private engineering colleges surrendered their seats to Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) which counts to be 7,000 seats including COMED-K and Management Quota allotment.
- According to Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges - Karnataka (COMED-K), total engineering seats available under COMED-K was 15,020 and unfilled are 10,309 seats.
