  • The State Higher Education Department on Tuesday has decided to adopt a ‘Zero Vacation’ Policy in the upcoming academic year to cope with the loss of academic days due to coronavirus induced lockdown in the nation.
  • The decision was communicated during the review meeting of Higher Education Department convened by CM Yediyurappa earlier in the day.
  • As per the Communique, summer vacation for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students and Universities will be cancelled during the academic year 2020-21.
  • The Government had consulted the Vice Chancellors and other academicians from various parts of the state before taking this decision.
