All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Sri Krishna Panel fixed the revised fee structure, including a proposed minimum fee limit for the engineering and technology institutes.

The executive committee of the AICTE chaired by Justice (retd) B N Srikrishna and forwarded was appointed to fix a cap on the fees on all the engineering and technology courses in all the technology institutes.

The committee proposed that in case of undergraduate engineering disciplines, the annual minimum fee cannot be below Rs 79,000 while the maximum has been capped at Rs 1.89 lakh. In the case of post-graduate engineering programmes, the maximum and minimum fee have been proposed at Rs 3.03 lakh and Rs 1.41 lakh respectively.
